How can I spiderproof my desk area?

I failed to kill one last week and now he's been terrorizing me ever since by occasionally running around on my desk in the middle of the night.

They sell electric bug swatter things now for only 5$ at some stores, they look like plastic tennis rackets with a metal "net" area, and all you do is get something on it and press a button and it zaps them to death, I bought one and now I never kill bugs any other way. It can be difficult in some situations to get them to touch it, but usually they will either crawl on it or you can just crush it against them and something else

Fuck you, OP. I happen to like spiders, Every time someone attempts to kill a spider around me I immediately punch them. Or if the spider isn't dead yet, tackle them.

Most spiders are non-aggressive, and get rid of all the other pests in your house. Your only reason for killing would be "Its icky!" I guess I should expect this from the other little girls on /jp/.

There are time where I just my thumb, index finger, and middle finger and go in for the kill. Think of spiders the size of your USB and imagine me pinching them in between my fingers, because they're right on top of me or crawling on me.
