I have been experimenting with chai lately. The spices are strong and it brings an interesting sweetness to the whole experience.

What tea is /jp/ drinking right now?

I did once. Far too bitter for my taste, but I would like to try it again.
Like coffee, I have always like it with 3 sugar but I find myself liking it straight black lately. Tastes change.

For the last time.

What kind of tea is /jp/ drinking right now?

>> No.9768466

I've been drinking Chai Assam. I don't understand, why does it bear the name of two different Tea?

It has been at least eight months since I last drank Indian black Tea, so I'm very happy.

Where do you guys fetch your Tea? I get them from a local Asian store, sadly their selection could be better, hence my eight months. Is there any place to order online?

What other drinks are allowed in this thread?

Can I talk about Canada Dry?

Canada Dry falls under the "other drink" category so I'll allow it.

Okay.

I have a bottle of Canada Dry in my fridge. The problem is that my fridge is at least two hundred miles away from where I'm currently living at. Even though Canada Dry is really tasty, I won't reasonably be able to drink it right now.

Feel.

Mugicha master race here.

I stored it incorrectly and now it tastes like shit. Have to add sugar every time.

There's a very nice Indian store with proper tea. They also have Cardamom, which I think I can infuse along with the tea to bring a different sort of sweetness without adding sugar.

>> No.9768576

>>9768525
seems unpractical. I'd have to clean up the kettle every time and not just the cup. Plus, it would get cold before I finished the first couple cups... Maybe people use kettles because it's fancy? I can understand that, but it doesn't seem to be worth the effort

>> No.9768602

>>9768576
People use kettles because they heat water, you fucking retard. Fucking stupid Americans, I swear. Yes, please give me your limescale-riddled lukewarm water. Oh! You'll heat it in the microwave because TV dinners are more important to Americans than non-pre-packaged warm beverages? How thoughtful of you!

>> No.9768736

It makes more sense when you're drinking with other people instead of brewing a single cup for each person every time.

If you're on your own, you're better off with personal metallic cages and such. French press is supposed to be good as well.

Japanese vending machines will heat up a canned drink for you.

It depends more on the vending machine to keep canned coffee warm. There's also stuff that uses exothermic chemical reactions in the bottom of the can to heat it up on the spot.

So yeah, can be done. And it must be really nice during winter. I mean, we have Starbucks/Tim Hortons/Dunkin' Donuts in every damn block, but it's not the same.

>> No.9769395

>>9769246
It's not more harmful than tea or coffee, it depends on who drinks it. My digestive system is quite delicate, so almost anything I eat causes me trouble. Aside from that I drink it in massive quantities, so that helps too.
