I just saw Dredd, it was actually really good. I can't see how Robocop is gonna be any different (or any better).

Looks like it's made of plastic. The old one looked made of metal and with all the disadvantages of being robotic with really... well, robotic movement. I can see the new one running, rolling, backflipping and all of that stupid shit.

All in all, Hollywood is about to butcher yet another good memory.

But that's the thing. Robocop wasn't in the distant future where such materials are commonplace. Robocop has always been set in the near-future and robocop was the first of it's kind. In the movie, there were also newer generations that were much better than the regular robocop.

I hate it. It's like they wanted him to look like an Iron Batman.I especially hate the helmet. What's the point of making it all see through if the thing hugs his face? As well I certainly hope that that his right hand is actually covered because the original Murphy lost that hand.

The only thing murphy actually had at the end was his head, if I recall correctly. There was a segment where they show the different stages of his development through his eyes and people were tossing his head around during a christmas party.
