Why is it that you have to hit the boss a hundreds of times to kill them but if you get hit by a single stray danmaku you lose a life.

This game makes no sence.

Why is it that the player can just hammer away at my massive hitbox while I can only move around once in a while and have to hit that tiny red dot?

This game makes no sence.

100% agreed OP...!!

Even touching them kills / damages you...
Like, why the HELL would Reimu/Megaman/MC get damaged by touching the bosses if they're usually on the same level or even stronger...?!

TL:DR - The game doesn't do a great job of showing it but every time you "hit" the boss they are really just dodging it and using a spellcard to save themselves when life runs out.

When you empty the final bar of life, that's when they actually "get hit" officially.
