>> No.9725896

>>9725886

>> No.9725901

Reading manga is pretty accepted. Watching anime is frown upon once you reach a certain age.

Also, >>>/a/

>> No.9725907

That's not a question

>> No.9725918

>>9725899

>Watching anime is frown upon once you reach a certain age
This reason alone is more childish than watching Anime. There isn't much of a difference between Anime and VNs. /jp/ needs needs to grow out of their hipster phase already.

You sure told him!

>> No.9726048

Totally acceptable by all walks of life, although it would probably be weird if you were like 90% of /a/, and absorbed everything arbitrarily.

You see people in the subway reading manga, and married couples watching anime on televison. At least I have..

>> No.9726064

>>9726013
/jp/ is not Japan

>> No.9726059

>>9726013
Uh, he was referring to the societal view.

>> No.9726071

>>9726059
Crap, I thought he was talking about /jp/s views on Anime and Manga.
Just ignore that post.

>> No.9726097

/jp/- Jewish Pride

>> No.9726362

It's pretty mainstream. The only thing that's really looked down upon is otaku, and there's a pretty clear distinction between liking anime/manga, and being an otaku.

>> No.9727421

Anything other than Shounen jump/Ghibli is seen as otaku and looked down on.
