pso2 was my last "MMO" I guess. I just can't have fun in them anymore because I don't have any friends and it's so hard for me to make them now. It seems like back when I played Vanilla WoW and Guild Wars Prophecies I just made friends naturally without even trying. Then it sorta just stopped. I'm not sure why. I started realizing how much funner games are when you have friends to play with. Especially MMO's... actually I'm finding it hard to enjoy video games at all anymore. I'll probably kill myself soon.

One of the reasons I stick with WoW is because it caters to loners like me pretty well.
Don't need friends, just join random dungeon parties, even raids are getting more catered to autistic shynerds like me with LFR
Guilds are just full of people that don't talk and just join for the guild perks.
I can get a character from 0-85, join a guild and get raid gear without saying so much as hello to anyone else.

It's really great but if you're looking for something simple and easy you're going to suffer.

There's traps that kill you instantly and you WILL need a party to progress, regardless of Class. Thief is actually the primary people will play and need, along with Priests, they can check for traps, open locked chests and get better loot out of everything.

Alignment also affects some skills, giving you bonuses depending on it, this has only seen use in some skills but the new expansion includes more alignment boosted skills.

Most MMOs these days are free to play. After the initial purchase, anyway.

They are never really worth it though. May as well just pirate a bunch of single player games. Cheaper, and you don't get your content spread thin over weeks of grind.
