For a while I got lazy and only brushed my teeth whenever I felt like it. On my next dentist visit I was told I had 3 separate cavities. It bothered me so badly that I started brushing hardcore. On the visit after that, the dentist told me that I was brushing so hard that I had eroded part of my gumline.

I don't know how to brush anymore.

>> No.9695549

I could never floss. I could just never get to my back teeth, so I just gave up. I brush once every night before going to bed.

Been to a dentist, once, when I was a kid. He yanked out the last of my 7 baby teeth for no reason. Never been to one since, because my parents could never afford it.

One of my teeth in the back of my mouth, on the top, broke two years ago. Half of it fell off, but it never hurt. Something strange works with it, like it tries to heal itself. Over time, the tooth "restores", only to break off again four months later. Right now it's fully in place again, but I imagine it will breaks soon. I haven't even chewed on that side of my mouth since it broke because I"m scared to.

>> No.9695605

I haven't brushed more than once a month since I was 10. It's just such an unpleasant experience whenever I do, my gums hurt and bleed, every toothpaste I've tried tastes awful, and I never really saw the benefit. I brush twice every day and floss. I was very lazy about brushing when I was in the early teens, but then I had one huge hole and later had to get a tooth removed (for unrelated reasons), and I just really felt like that was the sort of thing I didn't really need in my life, so I started brushing more diligently after that.
