It's bullshit, though.

There's no objective "good" look.

It's all bullshit artificial social expectations and media-manufactured trends.

So it's more like her conclusion is "Someone who wants to be liked, but doesn't want to sacrifice their identity for a superficial facade is just self-centered". And that's not something I can agree with.

Think of it like that - for example, the common standard of attractiveness for women(particularly in Japan) is big breasts. So a women who wants to be liked but doesn't get breast implants is a piece of shit, according to this philosophy.

And it's exactly the same with pretty much everything else.
