I need medical advice /jp/.

I'd had an anal fissure for a while now that hasn't been getting better. Passing stool is painful and sometimes the bleeding turns the entire toilet bowl red.

Op...I have the exact same problem. I've been dealing with it for about 5 years now, but it didn't hurt-just a small fissure. Now it ALWAYS hurts when I shit-has been like this for at least a year.

Get some miralax-it softens your stool and makes it much less painful. Nitroglycerin cream from the doctor also helps-but it's very expensive, even with insurance it was 50 dollars for like a 30g tube, I didn't have enough to use it as much as my doctor told me too. It IS worth it though-it was healing me, but passing stools causes it to tear open usually.

So, drink miralax regularly once a day, and get some nitroglycerin cream if you can. Also, use vaseline around your anus before you defecate-I use a rubber glove and spread it around and as much inside as I can before squatting. I also put my legs up on a small stool to make passing feces more comfortable and natural.
