I wonder is it possible to be naturally nocturnal?

No matter how hard I try I can't fix my sleep and I'm alone on /jp/ at the deadest of hours too

This is the best time to be on /jp/.

It's when all the big shots are online.

I'm the same way. I've been trying to set things up so I can sleep from 4AM-12PM for over a month now. At the moment I usually sleep from 8AM-4PM. Alarms don't work since I'm too much of a heavy sleeper.

Unlikely, since humans normally require sunlight to stay healthy.
Most people aren't naturally morning persons, though.

Quit fighting it and just give up, like you've done with everything else in your life. It's easier that way.

I've been working in a nightshift for two and a half years now.
The first half a year or so were horrible, even though I always stayed up late 'till 4am and such during school, it was completely different for work.
Work from 23 to 07, how the "optimal" sleep pattern would've been is something like 08-15 or so, that I have time during the day.
How it usually was though, was something like nap from 10 to 11, can't sleep, drink coffee, fall asleep at 19 or so, wake up at 21 in a hurry, drink coffee, nothing to eat because I didn't have any time to go to a grocery store before work. Buy energy drinks and candy from a vending machine. Nap multiple times during the night. Go to home tired as fuck, can't get any sleep because of all the caffeine, buy junkfood, pass out for an hour or two, repeat.

I became fat, depressed, extremely suicidal and just generally felt horrible.
Then I took a two month sickleave because of depression, sleep pattern normalizes, life feels good, go jogging, go out.
Then back to work.

I know this is killing me, but I can't quit because I wouldn't have anything else, since I'm a high school dropout. And considering my lack of education, it pays rather well (like 2400€ a month).

I wish I was still a NEET in my mother's basement.

Atleast I got some Pepsi and I'm high as fuck.

Do you do a lot of heavy duty work?
I always feel much better during the night, it's daytime that I struggle with. I get really depressed when I have to normalize my sleep and I gain weight and it's just overall shit

Maybe I should buy some junkfood once the store opens, we don't have any vending machines here

It's impossible for me to sleep during the day.
My family will wake up every 30 minutes demanding something. I end up taking a series of 30 minute micronaps for 6 or 7 hours and it fries my brain.

I once had a job at a factory warehouse that changed between morning, afternoon and night shifts weekly. The morning shifts were the only ones I had any trouble with staying awake.
