Both of these guys are ordinary human beings who can punch REALLY HARD
They have a 郎 in their name
They are in some way connected to powerful magic users
From what we know neither of them get any
Both of them give enemies much stronger than they are a run for their money
Both have black eyes and black hair
They're both Japanese
Both wear long sleeves and pants

Therefore, they are the same person.

And he isn't a killer or had an upbringing as one for sure, his moral stance about killing and such is very normal.

He barely had a personality and backstory. And he only stood a chance against Servants because Caster was buffing him like crazy. After her death in UBW Archer easily dodged his attack and then cut him in half with one hit.

Didn't Nasu say that Alice is the most powerful character in MTnY?

And looking at what she can do it really seems so.

The thing with Beo was just a case of him being super effective against her. Nasu really love this crap.

>> No.9632620

>>9632569
I don't remember Nasu saying that. I think he just said Alice's power was unique, fairy tale monsters and all. And Beo has age of gods regresion circuits of higher quality than Princess Arc. No way is Alice stronger than him.

That's quantity. Quality is how far the mysteries they recreate are from what humans are capable of. Beo's composition is "filogenetic tree up to the 18th century", meaning he can shapeshift to any living organism on the planet up to the 18 century.

>> No.9632687

>>9632521
Beo's hair is instawin against magic. physical damage from familiars = still magic. He blocks a full kick to the face from Aoko just because she used prana or whatever to enhance herself.
They say a rocket launcher or any powerful enough weapon would be super effective against him though.

>> No.9632703

>>9632677

Arc's quality is B. Beo is C in both quality and quantity as far as I can remember.

Anyways, Alice's magic is amazing. Beo is simply a natural counter against her. And even then him beating her is just another case of Nasu's bullshit battle writing.

Not to mention that out of all the magi of the world Touko just so happened to have a shota counter against her.

>> No.9632722

I thought he was just naturally sturdy against conventional physical damage too. That makes Soujuurou's feat less impressive. But didn't Alice said he can just turn into a smaller and nimbler animal to handle bullets and rockets? He has fast regeneration too.

It's just one of those "he reaches a one in a million possibility" things, and basically dies in the process. I honestly have no idea why you would read Nasu or any action eroge if you don't like that kind of situation reversal. The scene itself was pretty awesome.
>>9632839
>Also, isn't Soujuurou from the same clan of assassins as Kuzuki?
Unless I somehow missed implications in the game or latest character materials, nothing is ever said that suggests this

>> No.9632869

>>9632749

Enchant it with recoil reducing magic. Use alchemy to create cartridges capable of shooting bullets at mach 10 or so. Make bullets from super hard and heavy alloys.

Suddenly you have a pocket railgun.

I bet even really powerful magi couldn't defend against something like that.

The scene was good due to the production values/cgs.
But the explanation/rationalization of it was pretty stupid and I disliked how Touko basically spent like 20 minutes trying to explain it.

To be honest Koyama and the guy who directed the game saved Mahoyo, the writing itself wasn't that bad but pretty "normal".
