you know when you're offline and away from the computer for a very long time and you come back and you're like wow how did i spend so much time here, and you try to do all the shit you used to do, like go on /jp/ and play games, but you don't even want to?

When I'm away from keyboard for a very long time (1 hour or more) I get sad because I expect someone to have messaged me in that time and about 80% of times nobody does but when they do it's almsot like a reward

I mean very long time as in weeks. Try not using the computer at all for a month. You won't be able to do but if you go on holiday or something it'll be easier.

How could that ever happen?

Nope.

Not really, no. Whenever I take a break from my hobbies for a few days or weeks for whatever reason, I enjoy them all the more when I pick up where I left off.

I also once got bored of Touhou for about a year straight, but it's never been difficult to start enjoying it again at a relaxed pace (besides playing the games).. which is fitting for its nature.

I used to browse /jp/ via neet.tv so I know what threads are new. But then you miss a day or two and it all gets too overwhelming. This is the first time I've visited /jp/ in about 2 months.

Today I spent all day out of the house and now that I'm about to go to bed, I feel like I've accomplished the same as I would've if I stayed home all day. Christ.

I have been forcibly incarcerated without internet or access to the outside world for months, and the very first thing I did when I got out was get on my state-of-the-art Intel Pentium III and browse /a/.

This is incredibly true for me.

Nearly every board is too fast to miss a day or two.

On time where I've been away from my computer for a while I tend to browse /po/ and slowly start visiting other boards till I'm back on track.
