So /jp/, I met some female moonfolk today. Spent a few very interesting hours with them, enjoying non-roneriness for the short while it lasted.
I was jugded to be an otaku on the basis that I own a few female anime figurines, which was a huge shock, since I always considered myself not-yet-an-otaku.
Another shock was how different real lunars actually talk compared to anime. The difference is mind-boggling.
Might be meeting some of them again, luckily I'm not otaku enough yet that my appereance would scare people away.

ITT, experiences with real japanese people... as if, people will just think this is a troll anyway,

I don't really get where this myth comes from. I live in New York and I see real Japanese people talk to each other here and there and it's just like animu in real life.

You are a troll.
So, why don't you tell us about some of these 'differences?'

Yeah, the Japanese consider all people who watch anime to be otaku. Well, except for the "accepted" anime though, such as Doraemon.

I sort of enjoy that. All anime-fans fail equally in the eyes of normal-friend Japanese. If only it were like that here in America. Here, you actually have some people go "Hah, I only watch "manly" anime/I don't like moe moe desu things!" when in reality they're just as pathetic as every other anime geek.

Perhaps they're even more pathetic, since instead of accepting that they fail they try to rationalize their way out of it with bullshit.

The Japanese have a weird way of messing with you.

I've made a few Japanese friends because I'm taking Japanese in college and there is a small community of them on campus. They like to say things in a deadpan manner, wait for your bewildered expression, and say "Uso" or "Joudan da yo"

Like when one guy came to my room and I showed him my vidya gaems (he wondered why I had so many JRPGs) I asked if he played a lot and he said, "Yes, 10 hours a day, usually."

Blank stare. "I... see."

"Joudan da yo!"

>> No.960870

I was fighting Remila Scarlet yesterday and a female Japanese walking past saw my screen through where some of the pained had thinned on my basement window. She asked if I was playing normal modo and when I said I was on lunatic her legs went weak with sexual desire, she smashed through the window overcome with lust and attached her vajayjay to my detestable, smegma-riddled manhood. She’s been there for a week now. I don't feel my legs anymore, and I can feel my lifeblood draining away. These are truly my final days.
