You answered your own question. I collected American action figures until about '03 or '04, which is about when the quality of bishojo figurines started to spike.

It's pretty amazing that no one except Hot Toys has taken to making decent super hero figures, and those things are stupid expensive.

Short of just giving them away, I wouldn't recommend doing any transactions with strangers via 4chan. Just look up the storied history of the BST if you haven't. I've had a bad experience before on there too. Got my money back but still the extra hassle ain't worth it when you have reputable sellers like Mandarake at the ready. With no accountability there's scammers, flakes and hell even someone who intentionally HOTGLUED shit before sending it out (and had the nerve to brag about it on BST).
