That doujin was great. Like, really, really good. Best tengu doujin I've ever seen.
I loved the characterization and depiction of youkai mountain life. Aya's relationship with Momiji was the best; friends, but don't always get along, just how I always thought of it. A shame she doesn't understand Momiji as much as she thinks. Hatate was great too.
Not sure about that ending, though. Definitely sad, but...what happens next? Did Momiji...give up?

I dont think she gave up as much as gave in to the fact that no matter what, it seems like the wolf tengu tribe and momijis father are going to kiss ayas ass and put momiji in uncomfortable positions

This doujin really made aya and momijis relationship seem quite strained (aya pulling the strings)

i hated seeing momiji waking away from aya crying

She was stressed about the stuff clearly mentioned, and that the wolf tengu had become so...unwolflike. That's why she admired that white wolf so much.
Aya thinks Momiji's just pretending when she acts angry and feral and wolf-like. She doesn't understand her to that extent.

So far my favorite doujinshi from C82. It was a pretty interesting read, although short and action-less, it's nice to see some interaction between Satori and Remilia. Both being big sisters and in similar positions, I would expect to see more doujinshi of them together, but it doesn't seem like it.

I love OP's artist.

Another one of his works was recently translated (on voile) focusing on Marisa & Byakuren which if pretty good, though not as good as this one. A third one of his works is also on the front page on voile, though no one has translated it yet. So check those out.

One I'd recommend, although I wouldn't say it is realistic, is Stories of Sakuya. I'm mainly recommending it if you're looking for Touhous (in this case, Meiling) who are more competent than normally portrayed in fanworks. A competent Meiling is amazing. Plus the art is great.

I would post others but I started getting lost in my library and now I have 5-6 doujins that I have up and I have to go through again.
