Textless OP or unrelated touhou image is not a good idea. Think of where you would like your thread to go and try to steer it that way from the start.

This is good advice.
I made a Sanae thread several weeks ago that turned out really well because I started it off by talking about some aspect of her character I'd just noticed; in this case, how awesome her WaHH design was. If I'd just said "Hey guys, let's have a Sanae thread," I think we all know how it would have turned out.

If you ask me it has made Gensokyo into a powder keg of frustration. Won't be long until the shrines go into open war with each other since spellcard is not good enough to keep some factions in check
