Should we rename neo-/jp/ to /jq/ or /qp/?

Because this place isn't /jp/ anymore.
It's fucking Comiket time and the board is absolutely fucking shitty. Comiket time is when /jp/ used to be at the top of it's awesomeness but not anymore. /jp/ has changed.
/jp/ is dead.

Good job /q/.

How new are you? Comiket has always been a shitty time because people from other boards/sites fill the place. It will be better in a month when pretty much everything will have been uploaded.

>> No.9565207

I am downloading games and music, you can continue bitching.

>> No.9565209

Actually /jp/ is basically back to how it was a year ago.
i.e. not constantly being flooded by retards shitposting all over the place. Solid good threads of various categories relating to the various interests of /jp/ers.

Basically, what the board should be.

>> No.9565211

It's like always. Only less repeating "WhERE is newest fucking 2hu-game?!?"-threads.
Now git out of my /jp/.

That only started happening in 2011

>> No.9565217

It is exactly like this every time Comiket is on, calm your autism OP.

>> No.9565218

/jp/ is always shitty at Comikets. The board was actually nice for a day or two after the sticky.

2011 eleven was one of the worst periods in /jp/ history being only beaten by 2012

The people making these new rules on /q/ all sleep and wake at the same time.
The same time as the janitor, and they say anyone who disagrees with the rules is Tokiko samefagging.
It looks like the ones for the rules are the ones samefagging

Yeah man, the moment moot created /a/ all the Comiket threads in /jp/ went way downhill :-(

I can't wait to see your reaction when the next Touhou game is released.

Samefag
Shows how new you are
2009, 2010 comikets were awesome

I'd say current /jp/ is more like early /bun/; attempting to be /jp/, but in a neat, boring, predictable, forum-like structure. The board always seems to be filled with the exact same threads.

>> No.9565225,2 [INTERNAL]

>>9565225,1
Forum-like structures are good for forums, so I see no problem there.

If you want a free-for-all shitfest, there are websites and message boards for that. If you think, "Oh, Touhou again?" is boring, then /jp/ is not the place for you. Go do something you'll enjoy. Get a hobby or read a book.

Hasn't this always been the case? For years? The only difference now compared to years past is we don't have things like JBCS every hour, or dawson spam, or tripfriend tier lists every night, etc etc. Maybe that is 'boring' to you, but frankly I'm better off without them.

>If you think, "Oh, Touhou again?" is boring, then /jp/ is not the place for you.

I honestly have no idea at all why people complain about Touhou or /jp/ related things on /jp/. It's like going to /p/ and complaining about photos and cameras, or going to /n/ and complaining about people not walking.

>> No.9565225,5 [INTERNAL]

Despite the sticky and all the changes, the new janitor team is much more easygoing and open-minded than the people we've had before. If you get bored of all the Touhou spam, don't be afraid to make a thread that interests you. They even allowed a Saten thread for a while, so post whatever you want as long as it is allowed by the rules.

I think it works like that too. You just need to be careful with your thread not being too off-topic, and at least a bit otaku~related.

Plenty of people visit /m/ without caring about Gundam. It's no different.

Complain about Gundam threads on /m/, fucker, see what happens.
