Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly nazi acts. The victims were in threads, or offline; NEETs, pedophiles, businessmen, military and federal workers; underage&b, friends and neighbors. Freedom of thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror.

The pictures of /q/ posters deciding rules, mods permanently banning Zunbar, have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness, and a quiet, unyielding anger. These acts of mass terror were intended to frighten our home into chaos and retreat. But they have failed; our will is strong.

A great people has been moved to defend a great board. Nazi moderation attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest posting circles, but they cannot touch the foundation of /jp/. These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of /jp/ resolve.

/jp/ was targeted for attack because we're the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in 4chan. And no one will keep that light from shining.

Today, our board saw evil, the very worst of human nature. And we responded with the best of /jp/ -- with the quality threads, with the caring for strangers and neighbors who came to ask for source and post threads.

This is a day when all /jp/ers from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace. /jp/ has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time. None of us will ever forget this day. Yet, we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world.

Do you know who was recommending rules for /jp/? Kurokospammer.
I could tell it was him, not only because he used the Kuroko image, but because the rules he recommended were the same as the ones you see in TohnoChan.
He's posted in tohnochan and you can see his influence in that site if you ever visit their IRC.

I warned you guys, long long ago. I'm gonna go over the archive and bring up the old data I used to have on my computer, tracking down /tc/ and /bun/ activity to bolster their site traffic by attacking /jp/.

You know, I'm honestly kind of alarmed at all the resistance to the implementation of actual rules and moderation. Before, I kind of though most of the shitposting was an attempt to get mod attention and bring back order, but I guess that wasn't true. People really do enjoy shitposting and are convinced this is what the board should be about. Truly these are grim times for /jp/.
