As his master, Rin would not allow him to do do anything unethical.

He obviously cares about Saber, he was going to setup Rin with Saber after he killed Shirou and he says that Saber will be saved at some point and that he will probably have a connection to her 'the next time'. His experiences as a heroic spirit are nothing but torment for him, so why wouldn't he be irritated at someone he cares about that wants to or allow them self in the case of Saber, to experience what he has for any reason.

TLDR; it could have been anyone and most of all it doesn't matter who his lover was.
