Not sure what you're asking, but the only fighting game /jp/ really plays currently is Hisoutensoku.

Clapping is very important

whats up with this americans clapping stuff?

>> No.9524466

It's a meme from /tv/.

Europeans were very shocked to learn that Americans start clapping at the end of a movie in the theatre, and after their plane lands safely, and Americans were in turn surprised that this was looked upon as abnormal behaviour.

I was always annoyed by clapping during the movie but never thought twice about clapping at the end. Never been on a plane so clapping on landing sounds bizarre.

It is bizarre. I have no idea where >>9524466 got the idea that it's common.

But okay, fine. The plane landing thing is one of the many embellished things added afterward, but the original meme was about the end of a movie.

Why would clapping at the end of a movie make any sense? Clapping is the way you show respect to a public speaker or something, not a screen with no concept of such a thing. I guess you could be clapping at the 16 year old kid loading the projector? But even so, why do that and then not clap whenever you receive food in a restaurant, what's with the double standards?

Either clap at everything, clap at things that make sense, or clap at nothing.
