>The story centers around five Japanese high school students who are too young to be called adults, but who no longer think of themselves as children. Wakana Sakai once took music lessons, but she withdrew from music after losing her mother. Konatsu Miyamoto is a positive-thinking girl who loves singing and spends time after school at the vocal music club. Sawa Okita is a spirited archery club member who dreams of becoming a horse rider. Taichi Tanaka is a chronically late badminton team member who lives with his college student sister. "Wien" just transferred into Wakana's class after 12 years abroad in Austria. Music brings Wakana, Konatsu, Sawa and the others together into an ensemble during their last summer in high school.

Sure fuggin sounds like it.

I know what you mean. I just recently watching it a week ago and I cried so much. That was the kind of closure I needed. I also red the manga afterwords which was even better because I see how they are like. I have never felt so close to an animated character than I did with k-on.

It was because I was watching them from the start and seeing them grow up and meeting friends and fulfilling their dreams.

Listening to that song fills me with so much happiness and yet it leaves me feeling so sad afterwords.

Yes and just seeing them together again after so long made me so happy.

They finally successfully passed over their duties onto Azusa. It's funny I always disliked her because she was that new girl that was hogging all the screen time but it was not untill I red the recent manga on how I finally learned to accept her and she was indeed part of the k-on universe and I should not have written her off so much.

>What makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside?

...things that I think are peculiar to me, are when fiction that I care about does something... right.

I don't know how to explain, it's not just about doing something I would do, it's more like doing something I would do had I been able to think of it.

I usually have lots of issues with everything I consume, I always keep noticing things that don't sit right with me personally or with the narrative for one reason or another, so when something comes along that's just... perfect, it's really a special moment.

Case in point, Hyouka. I watched the first 14 episodes recently, and I'm rewatching it right now, mostly because the entire part about Irisu tricking Houtarou into writing the movie for her was amazing. It's set up like your usual bullshit about the protagonist being special and untouchable, which the anime was kinda building up to, and then it just comes crushing down on him. Just perfect. And Irisu being definitely more three-dimensional character than it was immediately obvious certainly didn't hurt either.

Of course, after a moment like that I usually find something to be depressed about, like now I finally looked up what Judgement means in Tarot and now I'm sad because I'm pretty sure it means Satoshi will never accept Mayaka.
