I've always liked my accent. I've been told it's a BBC English accent, so I've got the benefit of having a English accent without it being tied to a particular area that could be ridiculed.

I'm British and I don't have a British accent. I grew up not socializing and watching a lot of American TV so everyone tells me I sound American. But I use British slang terms as well so it all comes out sounding incredibly awkward.
