I use google translate and this picture as avatar to freak out nips in OSU, it's incredible how much do they bear it until they get tired of reading:
私は理解していない、人間のように話してください。

I guess I'm above average /jp/er

For fuck sake, I'm literally crying here, impress people speaking Moonrunes? I might as well impress people with my proud old black heritage.

People are grabbing my coattails every time I speak Old English in public. perfect pronunciation too.

>> No.9509895

A lot of japs already said my japanese is pretty good just because I don't start every sentence with Watashi.

I like teaching people about how japanese works. I actually tell people that japanese is a very easy language to learn, and that you can read a newspaper in 2 years at minimum. I also like teaching people about japanese. I love sharing my knowledge with other people.

>> No.9510296

とんでもない!あたし全然分からないですの!

>> No.9510311

thing is, to speak any language properly (like a native) you actually have to use it with native speakers, constantly. so most likely no one here can really SPEAK japanese. unless they've actually lived in Japan for a while

>> No.9510341

>>9510311
Helps being able to understand people and read things though. Speaking is only half the battle! Hell, if you really need to you can write instead of talk.

And completely retarded. Have we sunk this low that upholding the status symbol of sage is more important to us than its actual purpose?
