Meatball Marinara is my favourite! Well done!

You're lucky. Most Subways I've been to usually run out of meatballs by the early afternoon. Even the ones in cities.

Same.

Suddenly learned that the food my mummy bought and cooked for me was bought because she worked 50 hours per week whilst I did nothing and didn't even bother cleaning the house for her

Obviously I knew that at the time but after having to buy food and pay rent myself it hit me pretty hard how much other people had done for me all my life. Damn.

I'm the OP, I believe I do respect my mum. I give her a lot of my money I get each month, I clean the house whenever I can, do the dishes etc, I also sometimes give her massages if she is in pain, her back or arms and places like that. Though I can't help but get excited when she comes home to see if she has brought me a gift or something.

This is right up there on my list of preferred death scenarios, along with "in huge debt" and "while very depressed".

People who want to die happy or successful are dumb. That's the worst time to die. It's a waste of a death, even.

This. If anything, I was surprised how little needed to be done. My mum was very stressed all the time and overworked herself, both at work and around the house, so it was surprising how little cooking, cleaning and maintenance it took to sustain myself.

Though food is expensive, and buying it is a pain.

>My mum was very stressed all the time and overworked herself

Mine's the same, she creates work for the sake of working and seems to clean as a hobby. It's like the anti-NEET.

Whilst that can be irritating to be around when you just want to relax, it does at least mean the house is clean. When I lived alone the sheer mess became impressive.

I was just thinking about a way Americans might be able to make a lazy spelling version of "flour" to save their hamburgers brains having to think about an extra letter and then it hit me.

"Flor"
At first I smiled a little at how stupid the word sounds...but then I realised something...

Amerilards would actually use this word if we let them. They would want to.

I am not even exaggerating here when I say that I truly LMAO'd and am still in the process of LMAO'ing. There you have it, Americans of /jp/: Flor. Please use this and spread it around your friends.

When I moved out, my life certainly got easier and I started to enjoy it more but I also started to pity my parents. It started to feel like they were envying me. Their life has always been poor labor-filled shit and I'm just styling like a rockstar in my nice and comfortable apartment, free to do what I want.
