So, how does /jp/ deal with visual novels made for classic "square" monitors when you yourself have a widescreen? I usually like to full screen any game I play, but this usually results in a stretched image. Running in 1080 resolution leaves me with a pretty small window to play the game with no options to enlarge it.

The closest thing to fixing it I've found is to decrease the running resolution to minimum and having the window take up most of the screen, but I was wondering if anybody had a different approach.

pic unrelated.

I refuse to buy widescreen monitors.

I still have a 4:3 monitor.
I specifically remember that VNs was one of the reasons I bought it instead of a widescreen one.
