I don't obsess over japan. And if I cared about what others though of my hobby, I probably would've offed my self years ago if I did.

I teach myself Japanese because I find great enjoyment in their visual culture. Japanese is the most important third language for me to learn simply because of this hobby. Japanese animation (which is apparently the only medium you're aware of) is far from the entirety of their visual culture. It's probably the most cancerous because of its active subtitling community and has spawned such personalities as which you're probably displaying your hatred for in this thread.

However, this thread isn't unique in any way. I have to say your opening post is badly written and you should've put much more time and effort into it, especially if you were seeking an actual discussion.

Russian isn't important to lean unless you're into the petrol industry, the consumer market isn't there yet; as for doing business in China, it is for people a lot more cunning than I can sustain. Compared Russia or China, Japan's business practices are much more regular.
