Does anyone on /jp/ talk with people online in 1 on 1 scenarios, as in not a public forum? How do you do it? How do you meet people?

Why would I want to meet people? They are scary and mean.

No way man.

It turns out everyone on /jp/ is a witty and funny social normal who finds me awkward in conversation.

I've shared emails with some people, but we never spoke again after the first time.

I'm trying now but it isn't working.

When the other people aren't on vent/mumble/TS3.
I guess I would've been unable to do it if It wasn't a years old habit.

It's about 2-3 sentences per hour, though.

I also have some people on skype, but I never speak to them, not even to my brothers.

I still talk to a couple people I met when I used to play Halo. It's always really casual so I have never had any problems with them.

>> No.9466322

I've met people in HellMOO who I still talk to 1-on-1.

Ventrilo. A few years ago I joined an /a/ based Ventrilo and met a lot of cool people. Currently I'm good acquaintances with a physicist/math major who started his own server.

He did, but it's an account that was made an hour ago.

I chat with people online that I'm already friends with. But people I add on Steam from 4chan or whereever I can't really talk to for that long.

>> No.9466736

all of my msn friends I talk to everyday are tripfags, I can never build a strong relationship with anon.

>> No.9466749

I don't meet people that often anymore, but most of the people I talk to I've played games with for 6 to 10 years. The few I met on /jp/ I talk to pretty frequently too. The people I end up meeting are people whose posting styles have grown on me so I could single them out and meet with them on IRC or steam.
