While it's pretty clear that Byakuren isn't perfect and she isn't having as much impact as she would like on her group of youkai, I don't think you can doubt her motives anymore.

Half the youkai in her group don't attack humans in cold blood and the one that is a confirmed killer has significantly reduced her attacks after she was unsealed.
