I have a feeling someone from /fit/ will come along (for some reason there's a ton of them in /jp/) and try to say the few bits of fried foods in there are unhealthy. This will be only reinforced by the few fried items they ate that were dripping with oil due to poor technique.

If you fry something properly, the amount of oil that remains on the food is very miniscule. If your oil is hot enough almost none of it will enter the food and make it soggy or greasy. After it's been fried you need to place it on a rack so that any oil that might be there can drip off, as well as letting the bottom of the food come into contact with air to become crunchy and not soggy. Also, don't overload the pot with cold/frozen foods because they cause the oil of the temperature to drop which in turn causes the oil to saturate the food and turns it gross.

If you couldn't tell, I eat mostly fried foods, right after dessert items.
