I'm a very lonely person and I listen to music just like the guy on the left.

You start these threads with Headphone Musume, you should know this.

I have nice Sennheiser headphones and that's it. No amp, no FLAC, just $100 cans that do feel like a difference and feel comfortable. That's enough for me.

>> No.9420848

i'm not a fucking nerf

>> No.9420850

I only listen to original touhou music.

>> No.9420851

I like raw music. I don't like the overproduced sound of this generation.

>> No.9420853

I like a healthy mix of the two. Sometimes being able to hear all layers of the music in clear quality is just great. But good audio quality doesn't make a bad song good.

>> No.9420857

I'm apathetic about it. I only go as far as downloading lossless.

>The Beatles

Gross. People listen to those overrated fuggers?

That old rock music is so terrible. Every time I hear it I think of those awful 50s diners.

I haven't had a decent pair of headphones in ages. I'm too cheap and ignorant to buy any again.

I download my music directly off youtube.

250 dollar 2.1 speakers. I like clarity and volume, but I'm not a retard that thinks spending thousands of dollars on equipment that affects portions of the audio stream which 99% of people can't even hear makes sense.

My tastes are too ghetto to be listened to in high quality. It's supposed to sound gritty.

Sennheiser earbuds and whatever quality I can get ahold of. Honestly, once the audio gets to a certain threshold of decent, it's literally too hard to hear the difference for me to even care. I do have a lower bound though - I generally won't go for youtube quality rips if I can help it. Those are generally pretty awful sounding if you're listening to them on anything decent.

Perfect description of my life right there.

I downloaded a pirated movie earlier today and then I peed in the sink.

I just use busted up old speakers that I've had for years. One of them tends to go out, and I have to twist the cables to get them to work.

>> No.9420932

Christ I thought I was on /a/ for some reason. What the hell?

I'm using very shitty 5USD speakers right now. I usually download lossless audio though...

>> No.9420933

I have headphones and they make pretty noise.

>> No.9420936

I break a lot of headphones for some reason, so I wouldn't dare paying more than $50 on one.

I also download anime at 480p because that way I can stream while the file downloads. Bite me.

>> No.9420946

Headphones break too often, so I never spend more than 10-15$ on them.

>> No.9420954

Not very. I'll settle for 64kbps if I have to, and just listen to it on my MP3 player. I'm not really sure why, but even low quality songs sound fine on it.

>> No.9420979

Very hardcore, my sound system is over £600(HD 650 + Receiver) but then I listen to music almost all day every day so it's worth it.

>> No.9421203

A healthy middle ground between the two.

I can easily hear the difference between a 128kbps and 320kbps mp3, and between $10 and $100 speakers.

Also, even with the same bitrate for me it's easy to notice the difference between a mp3 encoded in lame with optimal settings and a mp3 from some shitty-ass encoder.

But that's about it. 320kbps mp3 and a quality pair of 2.0 speakers is good enough for me.

>> No.9421259

I recently managed to break the frame of my Alessandro MS1s. Fortunately, hotglue, duct tape and popsicle sticks saved the day.

>> No.9421598

Can somebody reccomend a soundsystem in the range of $200?
