Why do people on /jp/ have deep voices?

I saw that foul attention whoring vocaroo thread yesterday, but the one thing that stuck out to me was that everyone seemed to have a deep voice. It was nothing like the shy and quiet voices that I imagine when I think of /jp/. Are you all bearded lumberjacks too? What else are you hiding?

I don't have a deep voice OP, but I'm too shy to share.
It used to be deeper but I just trained it a lot and now it's higher naturally. I'm told I have a really soothing voice and I've had people sort of space out just listening to me talk.
