How do you pure maidens keep yourselves healthy, do you take any herbal supplements. I take kratom for my anxiety, it helps a lot more than antidepressants, those just broke my dick.

I lift weights, tan, and use medical marijuana for my anxiety. And I stick things up my ass.

Rigorous and routine use of multiple nootropics including unregulated ones such as piracetam, sulbutiamine and regulated ones like adderall and armodafinil (though I can't consistently get a hold of them, unfortunately).

Also, dietary supplements such as fish oil that have conclusively been shown to improve mental function and overall health.

Most importantly, though, I get enough sleep, I eat well, and I exercise.

please point me to the clinical trials or peer-reviewed studies which indicate that ingesting fish oil does anything other than make you look stupid

I get my kratom from mistymountainherbals, consistently high quality stuff. I love their ssv bali, it's a warm and fuzzy buzz with a little bit of energy, their maeng da is highly energetic with a good buzz, also.

I was born healthy or raised, whatever, I don't get ill and I've not been in 22 years except for a bone I broke when I was 10.

There's not other name for it, just healthy.

It is undoubtedly good for you, but it's far better to get it from eating fish rather than in a pill.

259 REVIEWS. Obviously not all directly relevant to the conversation, but the amount of nutritional research done on omega-3 and other polyunsaturated oils is staggering. The evidence is fairly conclusive that they can be quite beneficial - especially if lacking in one's ordinary diet.

That said, your skepticism is well warranted and does you credit. Of the hundreds of nutritional supplements being marketed today, a large proportion do absolutely nothing, and an even larger proportion do something only if you have a specific deficiency in the supplement.

Another problem is dosage. Dosaging is just all over the fucking place on nutritional supplements. For example: melatonin (an actually useful supplement for most people, given that we didn't evolve in an age of ubiquitous electric lighting) is sold in dosages ranging from under 500 micrograms to over 10 milligrams. Melatonin, like many supplements affecting the body's signalling systems, has a U-shaped dosage curve - but it's worse than that since overingesting melatonin can fuck up your bodies own cycle of production. That is, too much melatonin not only makes in ineffective, but it deleterious. In studies, the optimal dosage for a typical elderly male might be 500 to 1000 micrograms. If some old guy goes to CVS and buys their 10 milligram melatonin pills to help him sleep - he's gonna have a bad time. And this type of situation is common.

In short, yes, do do some research before you invest any money into nutritional supplements.
