I've never tried it, but I've heard great things about FreeBSD's stability, although it admittedly is lacking a lot on the desktop side, so I'd say that Debian is more well-rounded. OpenBSD, on the other hand, is paranoid crap, and don't even get me started on NetBSD, DragonflyBSD or more obscure variants.
