We are approaching 2011 levels again. So janitors, time to rethink your approach.

>> No.9355014

All we need is a mod who doesn't party all day and then do his 4chan business for 5 minutes before going to bed.

>> No.9355006

You leave the board the way it is, it gets on the level of 2011. You moderate it, you get things on the level of 2011. There is no more escape, unless you leave /jp/.

I know the perfect solution.

No we don't. Go elsewhere if you want a Random board.

>> No.9355022

So does that mean that it's getting worse or that it's getting better?

>> No.9355031

>>9355024
Or stay here and have a touhou themed random board!

>> No.9355033

>>9355024
Yes we are. It's just not the same way as before but it will be on the same level.

I don't want to /jp/ to be shitty again. I will stop shitposting for life if the janitors rethink things, plan and work together.

>> No.9355049

Don't come to /jp/ because you think /jp/ is "2D/Random/My friends are here", and everything will be alright.

( ^ω^) Support ZUNBAR! Put this in your signature if you want to rename /jp/ to "2D/Random" (^ω^ )

“Complaining about 4chan (its policies, moderation, etc.) on the imageboards can result in post deletion and banishment. The administrator will address your questions, comments, complaints, and concerns via e-mail.”

>> No.9355074

>>9355057
Then ban me. Like I give a fuck anymore in this day and age.

>> No.9355071

>>9355045
Dude what the hell can be made
Janitors can't decide policies
If they delete every single off-topic thread we have people sperging over the board missing half of the pages. If they delete only the most off-topic stuff, you have people spamming the borderline threads because they weren't deleted. If they delete only the worst worst stuff, it will be the same as the 2011 janitor who did almost absolutely nothing to the board. In the end there is no solution, except a native mod or moot's intervention.

>> No.9355072

>>9355045
What do you propose for the janitors to do? To not delete the shitposters' spam in fear of the retaliation they bring? To allow fun threads that are nothing but the same repeated bullshit that only a dozen spammers find funny?

There are no solutions. We have no moderation, we go back to 2011. We get constant janitors, we go back to 2010 wars of attrition. Time to move on, they earned this board, shitposting is culture and we are not wanted.

>> No.9355098

>>9355071
Janitors should have more of an impact on board policies and have more contact with Team 4chan

The best way to stop shitposting dead in it's tracks? Bans. Something I think /jp/ lacks severely.

>> No.9355107

The way I see it deleting threads and posts doesn't carry a heavy message for shitposters. Delete one thread? They will just make another, another and another.

Because bans are so incredibly difficult to get around.

It doesn't work either

>> No.9355108,2 [INTERNAL]

>>9355098
We barely have any bans man. Once in a while a mod will show up, but that's all.

>> No.9355108,3 [INTERNAL]

>>9355107
You are an idiot if you think bans mean something. Only few of us have static IPs. And bans can only work on subhuman tripusers, like Sparky: whenever he posts everybody knows it's him and immediately reports him.
