What's up with the half-and-half divide among doujins that have Mokou/Kaguya as:

1. Mortal enemies who kill eachother every time they meet.

or

2. Friends (rivals)/nondeadly competitors/enemies/tsunderes.

Is #2 all just fan stuff, or do they really go through cycles of getting bored of killing eachother and becoming friends, and then going back to killing eachother every 50-100 years or something?

Mokou hates Kaguya for humiliating her father.
After that, Kaguya left to the moon and Mokou couldn't have her revenge.

Recently Mokou found out, that Kaguya has returned and lives near Mokou's place.

Since then, they kill each other on a daily basis (acc. to char profile).
Kaguya sends out assassins sometimes, just like she sent the heroine team on the "trial of guts".

I think after IN, Mokou started to guide villagers to Eientei for medical treatment, which means, she can go to Eientei without risking her life anymore.
