Everytime I post, I would check back on the threads I posted 15 minutes later, to see if someone actually quoted my posts.

It makes me happy since I'm ensured that at least one person read my post.

And I do get quoted a couple of times, so thank you everyone!

I do this thing some times where I "ironically goodposts." I write out large, polite and sourced replies which are irrelevant or miss the point in some way. I have seen other people doing it too, so I don't know if they thought it up as well, or saw me doing it and thought it was funny.

I sit in every thread I post in waiting for replies to my post, each time I see a "1" in the tab I get excited. I often do nothing but sit on /jp/ in multiple threads just waiting for a reply, that's how I spend around 80% of my waking hours.

It's because there's some people here who use both sage and the catalogue while others only look at the front page. I experience this a lot as well.

Sometimes I make up short posts to bump a thread with, just so that other people can see my real posts. I feel bad for it every time though
