I had several near-death experiences, most of which occurred with me on my bike. I was once milliseconds away from getting decimated by an 18-wheeler. Cops have pulled me over multiple times for almost getting killed while crossing the street.

You would think I would learn by now, but not even a couple days ago I was crossing at a crosswalk right after the crossing light turned red because didn't feel like waiting for the next signal and a car came out of nowhere and would've hit me if they didn't slam the brakes.

The reason I'm a shut-in though is because I lost a friend by making a joke and my brother yelled at me to think before I talk. Now I think for so long before I say anything that I end up never speaking and people stopped associating with me because I'm awkward as fuck to talk to.

Me as well, kind of. I'm not sure why but I have this horrible fainting problem that is legitimately frightening and prevents me from breathing while starting to black out. This happened in public a couple of times and no one thought to help me or call for help. It hasn't happened recently, but I'm just too afraid of it happening again, and it would be embarrassing if it happened in, say, University or at work.
I've gone to various doctors in different countries, but they all say the same shit and that I'm fine and completely healthy. It's frustrating.

I was in a car crash once. There was also a time, though I dunno if this really counts since it wasn't MY near death experience, where someone almost died in front of me. Me and my friends were able to keep him alive til the ambulance got there, though none of us really knew what the fuck we were doing. The guy survived at the end of the day.

During both of those times I was incredibly excited, and I consider them two of the highlights of my life. They were a weird mix of extremely stressful and lots of fun.

I'm kind of a freak. But I was a freak and a shut in way before either of those events so I don't think they had much of an impact on me.

I was attacked by a coyote when I was 11 and almost killed by a pygmy rattlesnake bite when I was 14. I am not a shut-in and I did not "see god" or anything like that why am I even posting in this thread anyways
