Why are they called beat-em-ups if you beat your fist into the bad guys? Shouldn't they be called "beat-em-intos"? Why do they call them first-person shooters if you don't just shoot the first person you see? Shouldn't they be called "everything shooters"? Why do they call em platformers if you don't control the platforms? Shouldn't they be called "jumperoos"?

Freedom respecting
Or similar terms that describe that the freedom refers to the four essential software freedoms and not those of price.
