Sleep deprivation is very unhealthy!
Please try to get enough sleep from now on, OP.

Here's a reply because your thread isn't as bad as most of the rest.

But what do you think of the quantity of threads exactly like this?

Actually, last time I tried to sleep after a couple of sleepless nights, I kept hearing voices and strange sounds, every time I closed my eyes couldn't stop myself from seeing the most horrifying and grotesque things ever. I have no idea where those images came from. I actually kept imagining on a fly disturbing shit of lovecraftian level.
I slept 1.5-2 hours that night. The next time I got better.

>> No.9317840

I did the same yesterday, didn't sleep for two days and got 14 hours of sleep. Now I am refreshed and drinking some chai.

staying up for long periods of time tends to give one hallucinations

You should post that on /x/.

Yes. This happens after many days of without sleep. It happened to be when i was traveling for 3 days non-stop. I saw fire everywhere and could even smell it. Bags we carried would sometimes burst into flames making me drop them.

A few years ago on /x/ we did a sleep deprivation experiment. Everyone kept diaries (blogs) and it was actually pretty fun. I think they've done it since, but people got scared after there was some FUD about brain damage.

>>9317869
Yeah I read a few of those threads. Though I never participated in the experiment myself.

Finally getting to sleep after staying awake for like 2 or 3 days is the best feeling. Night, OP.

Sleep deprivation does not cause brain damage.

Sorry for clumsy construct of that tale. I'm tired...

Stay dry, friend.

How many days are we talking about when discussing sleep deprivation and hallucinations? I've been awake for exactly 72 hours once without any interesting results except a really soft and slow voice. I didn't get further than 72 hours because I ended up in bed even though I don't remember how, I was aiming for 100 hours.

>> No.9317961

>>9317946

I've gone 100 hours without true hallucination, you get black floaters in the corners of your vision and jump at shadows but nothing fully fledged.
It's for that reason that I have to call bullshit on anyone who hallucinates after only two or three days (provided they are otherwise mentally healthy).

Actually when you wake up you're going to feel very tired.

This. Sleeping for 12-14 hours leaves me tired, sleepy and with headache. Sleeping 6-8 hours makes me fresh and I get sleepy only around 8-10 pm.
