Nope, not going to happen.
You will not have me paralyzed and then injected with your eggs after we mate, only to let the spider babies eat me from the inside out while i am alive.

I am terrified of and disgusted by spiders but I find spider girls rather sexy. why is this? Is it because despite my fear and revulsion of spiders, I find them fascinating? Is it because a cute girl being a monster at the same time is an interesting thing?

Why do I dem oneegumos /jp/?

I was hoping SoPM would say a thing or two about how the six buttons on her dress, added to her eyes, make up to a spider's eight eyes, and how the big fat part of it resembles a spider's big butt, but well...

I always liked to imagine the buttons as actually her eyes, not part of the clothes, even knowing it's just symbolism.

I know that, actually, because I've looked it up before to make surew. Wolf spiders in particular are in fact apparently pretty numerous in the rural areas where I live. However they seem to be more or less harmless. I'll start worrying when they start finding recluse spiders, black widows, scorpions and all the other shit I feel blessed to have been born far far away from.

Arachnophobia doesn't stop Yamame being cool though

We've got the brown recluse and widows here too, no scorpions. I had to deal with those when I lived on the western end of the US, not quite as bad as you'd imagine.
Some are pretty lethargic and can be grabbed easily by the tail and disposed of in whichever manner you choose. Others can be quite fast and painful.

Scorpion touhou when?

>> No.9316380

Some say that the reason why most of us are instinctively(debatable) afraid of spiders is because the less human an organism looks and acts the more we start to feel uncomfortable with it.

I don't think that's the reason at all because there are plenty of non-human looking things, like aliens, that I would like to stick my peepee in and I still find spiders to be unnerving.

>> No.9316395

>>9316380
Actually,
The closer something is to being human, but not quite "there" is what really creeps us out.
Think of what you feel when you see an amputee, or read/see a well done slenderman creepypasta.

I always try to carry them outside if possible, tho the last time didn't go so well... I think I've already posted this once in some Yamame thread, but here goes:

I was in hurry and speaking into my cellphone, when I noticed this spider making its way into a corner of my room. Not wanting it to eat me alive during my sleep, I hastily grabbed this old table lamp and swiftly squished it. About to leave and still continuing the call, I lifted the lamp off the ground and noticed what I had done...
Ten or more small spiderlings erupted from the corpse of their mother, running into every single direction possible. I killed them too.

Needless to say, I felt like a horrible monster afterwards.

>> No.9316625

>>9316609
I also try to carry out every spider and insect I meet no matter how small.
Once there was a spider in my room during summer and I live in the attic so in order to bring it out I had to drop it on the roof which is very hot during summer days so it basicly burned to it's dead and I still feel guilty about this...

>> No.9316663

>>9316609
I usually just squish them, and rarely just leave them alone. One night I was sitting at my computer in the dark when a spider slowly lowered itself a few inches in front of my face. The same thing happened the next night. They didn't scare me or gross me out too much, but it was really weird. Right now there are all sorts of these little striped jumping spiders around. I hate those guys.

"Though usually considered harmless to humans, the bite of some species may be painful."

I was going to scold you for killing innocent spiders, but if it can harm you, then there's no problem in getting rid of them.

Just, don't kill spiders that are harmless, they get rid of other bothersome insects and dangerous spiders.

Like the tiger spider, it rapes and eats brown recluses.

Just remember, guys! For every human there are 200,000,000 insects. You can kill and throw away as many as you want, there's still thousands left lurking around inside and outside your house. May as well accept it and learn to live with them.

>> No.9316805

I don't see its bite "maybe" being harmful as meaning the spider itself is a danger.

The bite of my dog may be harmful too, doesn't mean I'm going to stamp on him because of the minimal chance he'll ever bite me.

>> No.9316809

>>9316805

I meant because it only says "painful". All bites can be painful.

If it had a lot of venom then I could understand your position, but I don't think they do.

But your dog won't bite you until provoked. Spiders will bite you only if provoked too, but the problem it's the size. It's like leaving needles on your couch without picking them up. You'll eventually prick your ass.
