I would agree, but it probably wouldn't work. "Only delete severely and explicitly rule-breaking threads" is a nice idea, but there's too much "grey area" that faggots would (and do) take advantage of.

/jp/ is in for some shit meta weeks if things go like this. No approach pleases most of the board. 2011 allowed half of the userbase to become people who come here because they think it is "2D/Random", while most older users do not agree with this vision of /jp/. Unless they accept they were wrong, one of these sides will have to leave /jp/.

I wonder if we're in for another split or board changes.
