Now I'm no pro (in fact, I'm a total noob) but I use a Logitech Wingman, which is effectively a Saturn pad with dual analogs. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best damn controller ever made. I really wish these were still in production, but six-button pads seem to have largely gone by the wayside. Everything is just a clone of the PS2 pad now. No respectable mainstream manufacturer seems to make Saturn-style pads any more, which is a real shame since the A button on mine has gone bad.
