I started with PCB (must have been 2 years ago) and refuse to play another one until I've beaten it on at least Normal. I usually manage to get to Stage 5 with Marisa, but the lack of bombs makes it considerably harder for me than it would be with Reimu or Sakuya.

Joke's on you, I've beaten ALL of the Windows Touhou games! (Other than PoFV, but who gives a shit?) I've also beaten two Extra Stage bosses, so there.

Only touhous I've 1ccd on normal are PCB and IN. I can pretty get to 5th stage in both of them with no lives or bombs spent and then I'll lose nearly all of them during the last boss. This has lead me to believe that I can't handle this kind of stress so I wont even bother with the other games.

PoFV is fun. After getting 2+CCs with every character a while back I went back and properly 1cced it today. Feels good. Extra is still total bullshit though.

Got to Kanako's final spellcard (MoF normal) again, dat adrenaline rush as you game over 20 seconds from the finish line.

Having that choice requires you to have already beaten the game twice (the second time has to be a 1cc, I don't think the first one does?) on any difficulty. Easy IN is well, pretty easy, even relative to other touhou games.

You don't have to have a 1cc to get the second choice. I didn't know about the alternate paths at all; I had just beaten the game once with a single continue and had practiced the fuck out of the later stages.

Then I make another attempt for a 1cc, and all of a sudden I'm going down the hallway in the final level in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION and all of the enemies have SLIGHTLY different patterns and Sakuya and Remilia are acting as if they know something I don't and then I'm fighting an entirely different final boss. And then, when you reach the dialogue after defeating the final boss and reaching her first Last Spell... Holy fuck.
