What is it about maids that is so intriguing? I can't figure out when I started having this maid fetish (or just generally enjoying 2d characters that were maids), but it has always been a part of my 2d experience.

What are some of /jp/'s favorite character archetypes/fetishes/aesthetically pleasing character designs etc etc etc etc?

I.. I did my best...

Straight bangs and short hair is the appeal for me.

As for meido, I don't understand it at all.

You did good anon, you did good.

Well, maids are in a position of subservience of their own volition.

If they didn't want to be, they'd just quit. If they don't, you can assume you're... tolerable, to say the least.

They take your every word as an order and do their utmost to fulfill your wishes. They let you know you are in the position of power by referring to you as a master, a sir, or somesuch other title.

They cater to your every need (I'm assuming we're not talking cleaning housemaids here), and don't gripe at what you do or don't do around the house.

In short, maids are nicer than most other girls would be, even if it's only because they're getting paid for it.

That's a decent way to look at it.

Straight bangs have always been kind of odd to me. It just doesn't seem natural I guess? But that's only one man's opinion. To each his own as they say.

Youmu is some good taste there.
