Sorry, you won't be able to save /jp/, it's already on it's way to destruction.

In order to save a forum, one must do two things:
1. Take care of the posters (namefaggotry is not neccessary).
2. Keep new people out.

Anything else will lead to destruction. See /prog/ for a good example: It's completely inpenetratable for a newcomer, and we actually have a policy of NO EXCEPTIONS (every thread must be replied to). This helps /prog/ come back up after short periods of suck.

It's been kind of that way for a while and to be honest the original RP ban (despite what some fags might think) seemed to help. I don't mind the odd thread done in character to amusing effect, it's the RONERY ALICE attention whoring crap with the same reposts that needed to be cleansed at the time. At it's height you could easily have a couple or more on the front page as the same idiots would just dump images to poorly played out fanon desperate Alice. Combined with 250 post long YWUIG threads made up of 245 posts of pure shit with maybe 5 posts from the man himself, then further imitation threads or even discussion threads a ban was a really good idea at the time.

Now I can only hope we get a reasonable run before it has to be enforced again. Last thing we need to to encourage shitty RP threads.
