i never got why people use that argument. what's the point? what's their motive? what is this supposed to cause? if anything, it should make the person in question more depressed, right? so why? do they deliberately try to make them more depressed? is this just malice? i can't think of another explaination, but it doesn't seem to be exactly the case.
