Ron Paul won't win anything because only a tiny minority of Americans support him. Just because they're vocal doesn't mean they hold any power or sway. Ron Paul was always behind, and he can never persuade the mass groups that decide votes. The housing bubble was created because the government started subsidizing home loans and holding interests rates artificially low, so that everyone and their fucking mother could afford a house. The market got extremely oversaturated, and the bubble popped.

The same thing is happening with college loans right now. We're subsidizing college loans, keeping interests rates artificially low, many people who should have degrees are getting them.. the market is oversaturated.. and POP. I can't wait to see all the tears.

From what I gather a Neolibral is someone who wants a totally freemarket where the goverment does not get involved with bussiness affairs, and a minimal goverment to protect the state with an army and justice system, but everything else people must pay for. It's agreed that we play capitalism by certain rules, you don't steal stuff, you don't kill people, etc. Regulation is and should be setting up fair rules by which to play the game, not interventionist and inefficient policy that is controversial.

There are lots of perverse incentives with the system, and people can exploit monetary power to gain more power.
