newfag here, since i started playing swr i have become interested in tohous, but i have a few questions i would like an answer too, sooo can anyone shed some ligth?
first
is there a story line? at least in the mangas, at least a chronological one, or do i just start reading the first one i find?

most importanlly
know of a place i can find translated tohou manga? i can't read japanese

There is no continuous storyline, just the episodic adventures in each game. There are several serialized manga and light novels, most written by ZUN himself (but not illustrated, thank God)
