I suppose. But what about albums that are distributed for free? Isn't this exactly the sort of thing MediaFire is supposed to be for?

And even under the DMCA, it's not like one person can just say "REMOVE PLS" and they assume the person is telling the truth and delete it. It's a little more involved.

Fuck MediaFire for doing this. Every time some file host dicks everyone over like this, I just know a lot of good content has been basically lost forever.
