Why do you drink alcohol instead of smoking marijuana, /jp/? Alcohol is much worse for you physically and mentally, as opposed to marijuana which actually lowers the likelihood of getting cancer and has many medical benefits.

Also you have to realize that no politician or American president is going to ever legalize marijuana. Mainly because it would be a career devastating move and their entire party would ditch them. I am sure there are politicians that agree and want it legal but being vocal about it would be extremely bad.
